Loved watching mist lift off the lake early one morning
Easy, family friendly hike. Shaded trail most of the way. Beware some snakes (I've run into long black snake and small brown snake), didn't have incidents but just walk in front if you're going with kids or bringing a dog.

Nice, big and open parking area right off Seven Lakes Dr. Picnic and grill areas next to the creek, nearby trailheads to venture into Harriman, or just walk around the lake.
